Many people enjoy training in a social environment, which you will find in our group classes. We are all here to learn, and your dog will benefit from learning these behaviors in the presence of other dogs and their owners.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program
Training classes teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training is a natural lead in to the AKC® Canine Good Citizen® Program

Basic Obedience & Manners
Learn how to effectively communicate with your dog what is expected through obedience training. We use reward-based motivational training to help you bring out the best in your best friend. Class includes practical exercises such as come back when called, walk on a loose leash, sit-stay, down-stay, place (boundary-stay), and behavior solutions.

Agility I: Obstacles & Sequencing
Agility is a fun and exciting way to continue building the bond you share with your dog while building confidence and drive. Obstacles include the tire, tunnel, jumps, a-frame, dog walk, chute, weaves, and an introduction to handling skills. This is a great way to give your dog the exercise he truly needs!
Prerequisite: Basic Obedience & Manners (or equivalent).

AKC Canine Good Citizen
The CGC is a national standardized test offered by the AKC for purebred and mixed-breed dogs that includes obedience for real-life applications. It is a two-part program that emphasizes responsible pet ownership for owners and good manners for dogs.
Prerequisite: Basic & Intermediate Obedience (or equivalent). CGC test is conducted in the final class.

NEW!! ODOR SQUAD! Introduction to AKC Scent Work
Discover your dog’s motivation to learn and impress your friends! Dogs will learn how to seek out a specific and motivating item (food or toy) in boxes, and in real life scenarios. Owners will learn how to imprint odor and spot a change in behavior in their dog to set a foundation for AKC Nose Work, or detecting other scents out in the world! Classes are Wednsdays @ 6:30pm and Saturdays @ 10am.

NEW!! Swim Class
Looking for a way to beat the heat and have fun with your dog this summer? Join us and teach your dog to swim! Our trainers will teach you the basics to make sure your dog is confident in the water.
Classes are held in our beach club at the in-ground swimming pool area.

NEW!! AKC Tricks Class
In this class, work towards earning a Novice Trick Title through the American Kennel Club. We will go over the foundations for 10 new and fun tricks to take home and show off to your friends and families!
Tricks are a great way to build engagement and your relationship! Join our Trick Class and take home a new ribbon and title for you and your pup!

Intermediate Obedience/ Advanced Obedience
After creating a solid foundation in Basic Obedience, move on to more complex exercises including long-line and light-line work, introduction into off-leash obedience and real-life scenarios.
